Mr Sturla’s Year 10 group were given the challenge of designing and making an upcycled product. Due to current COVID regulations, practical lessons in D&T have been limited. The Year 10’s researched and designed their upcycled products in School, using sketches and CAD designs. They were then tasked with making their designed product at home, using a variety of everyday tools. The students photographed the work they had done and then were asked to present their work to the rest of the group.
As you can see they have produced some excellent work which ranges from Lamps, Furniture, Mirrors, Shoes, Storage, Clocks, Plant pots!
