With so many challenges closer to home, why do we continue to invest in space exploration? 

Our special guests will explain how space offers the most intriguing and exciting possibilities for the advancement of humankind. 

In “Space: meet the Stars” you’ll get the chance to ask questions and listen to our very special guest speakers discuss all things science fact and science fiction related to the exploration and commercialisation of Space. The speakers will be:

  • TJ Creamer – NASA astronaut on the International Space Station and NASA flight director.
  • Moogega Cooper – Lead of Planetary Protection for the NASA Mars Mission Perseverance Rover
  • Sophie Harker – BAE Systems senior aerodynamicist 
  • Jonathan Fernandez – Star Trek writer & story editor 
  • LJ Rich – and our host for the event and BBC ‘Click’ presenter 
  • Jaisha Wray – US space security policy expert
