Mr Sturla’s Year 10 Design and Technology group enjoyed getting back to “Practical Projects” last term.​

Due to COVID regulations a lot of practical lessons were not allowed last year and students were delighted to be using a range of tools and processes again​

They have designed and manufactured some stunning Pewter Jewellery  and Oak trinket Boxes with a swing lid. ​

​Students used a wide range of skills and techniques to make these, CAD/CAM, Laser cutting, pillar drills, forstner bits, filing, sanding and finishing skills. ​

The students really enjoyed making these and I think you’ll agree that they have done a fantastic job!!!!​
