Year 7 visited the world famous site of Stonehenge this term. The students took part in activities that helped them to connect the humanities subjects they study in school, geography, history and religious studies. The student were particularly interested in the archeological remains at the visitor centre and had plenty of questions for the staff. After taking a bus to see the stone circle students commented on the weathered old stones in front of them, we later found out they meant Mr Kershaw and Mr Koniarski. Students enjoyed the opportunity to see a site that visits from all over the world come to see. The trip had its challenges with wind, rain and cold temperatures but the students showed excellent resilience! Humanities staff thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to take students on a school trip once again!
