A huge thank you to all students and staff who raised money and participated in the house charity day yesterday. A big thank you to Jenny Haynes who organised and ran a tombola at lunch time and a big thank you to Mya Fullarton and Sophie Buss who ran the tuck shop.

We finished the day with seven incredible performances during Bradon’s Got Talent. Judged by Mrs Haines, Mr Dipple and Mr Sturla, the finalists wowed the audience with their incredible talent and courage to get up on stage and perform. The results were as follows:

1st Place: Jess Hamer with a breath-taking performance of the song ‘Burn’ from Hamilton the Musical

2nd Place: Aaron Notley-Jones playing the guitar (a piece he had written himself)

3rd Place: Varinia Montisci dancing and performing gymnastics in a Remembrance-dedicated piece

All seven of the finalists were amazing and it was very hard for the judges to place our final three. The audience were also very enthusiastic and even had the opportunity to take part in some karaoke.

As well as the events mentioned, most students raised money for the house charities by wearing non-school uniform and donating on Parentpay. Some students were feeling particularly festive and were given prizes for wearing Christmas jumpers. Special shout out to Mr Morris for his fantastic Christmas suit!

The Heads of Houses would like to thank everybody who contributed to the day. Our house charities are listed below and we raised a total of £909.32 throughout the day. It is amazing what we can all achieve when we work together!

Battlewell: Beat Eating Disorders

Peartree: Doing it for Dan

Ringsbury:  CALM (Swindon Children’s Cancer And Leukaemia Movement

Have an amazing Christmas and a happy new year!
