WORLD BOOK DAY BAKE OFF
Mrs Styles, Bradon Forest Librarian, reports: “The quality of the cakes entered for the baking competition as part of our World Book Day activities was amazing. The effort and professionalism was exceptional and made the judging very challenging. Entries had to be based on fictional characters or a book. The winning entry is the book Hannah’s tutor group are reading as part of our tutor time Reading Scheme, ‘They Both Die At The End’, by Adam Silvera. Well done Hannah W from 10P2; your cake looks delicious!” House points have been awarded to each student that took part.
‘DECORATE A DOOR’ HOUSE COMPETITION
A fantastic effort to the tutor groups in all years who took part in the decorate a door competition, the effort and imagination was outstanding which made it extremely hard to judge the winning tutor group. House points have been awarded to each tutor group that took part. Well done to the winners, 7B2!
A ‘Great Book Exchange’ was held in the library. House points were awarded to everyone who donated books and the students were invited to come and swap the read books for a new adventure.
