We gave Lilly a nod on International Women’s Day this week, but this news definitely deserves it’s own post! A huge congratulations to Lilly Endicott for being selected for the GB Ice Hockey Team!
The sport is obviously in the family as we asked Lilly to share her story: “I have been playing since I was 7 years old and currently play for numerous teams in various age groups. Watching my older brother play inspired me to take up the sport. He also was selected for GB U20s. I really enjoy the sport and was delighted to be selected for GB.”
Mrs Evans, said: “Lilly joined us in Year 8 and immediately made an impression with her sporting excellence. She has represented the school in netball and football and is hardworking, enthusiastic and a credit to Bradon Forest. Go Lilly!”
It really is inspiring to see a young woman succeeding in a traditionally male dominated sport and we look forward to hearing about your journey!
