Thanks to much to Tom McGee for visiting us today to work with our GCSE Drama students. Tom spoke about his pathway in to acting and his recent experience of staring in The Red Lion at Bristol Old Vic, before running workshops on acting techniques and offering various tips to students including how to learn lines!

Born and raised in Patchway, Bristol, Tom began playing football at the age of 6 for a local team. He graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in 2017 where his roles included Richard Burbage in Shakespeare’s Sister, David Spear in The Funfair and Francis Nurse in The Crucible. The Red Lion was be his professional stage debut.

Tom was also taught by our very own Mrs Haines!

Thanks so much @tom_mcg96, we look forward to seeing you on the big screen in the future!
