Our PE department had a fantastic day at Swindon Academy on Friday 1 July! Year 7 girls were paired up with Kingsdown to experience lacrosse, street dancing, martial arts, cheerleading and fencing as part of the This Girl Can Day
Highlights of the day:
- Girls confident in being lifted above head height in cheerleading!
- Street dance routine learnt and performed so well
- Girls fencing each other with great precision
Overall a great day in which the girls interacted so well with other schools, enjoyed new activities and came away with a medal each!
Star of the Day was Paige W – such energy, confidence and respect for everyone.
