Mrs Batchelor reports: “Despite the high temperatures (31 degrees on Sunday) our Year 10 DofE group took on their practice expedition this weekend and were just incredible. They started at Overton Hill and walked up and down hills all day Saturday and Sunday to get to Blackland Lakes campsite and then back again. The teamwork and camaraderie was infectious and they worked so hard to get to the end point. They cooked their own meals on Saturday evening using just a camping stove – some of the meals looked pretty good if you ask me (especially the smores!). They were kind, caring and supportive of each other and really did make Bradon proud!

I was impressed by all of them and the feedback from the instructors out on the expedition was brilliant, they all worked so hard and truly deserve their 6 week break!

Best of luck for their final expedition in September!”
