Our Drama and Music departments took a group of lucky students to see Six- The Musical in Bristol last night. Six is a British musical comedy retelling of the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII presented as a pop concert, as the Queens take turns singing and telling their story to see who suffered the most due to Henry and should, therefore, become the group’s lead singer.
A fantastic time was had by all and it was great to see students mesmerised but the all female cast, and toe tapping along to the songs.

Leah Purkess, one of our Year 10 GCSE Drama students, said: “I loved the show. It was amazing to watch female empowerment –  even the band were female! Such an inspirational show, I want to see it again and again and again!”
