Mr Sturla reports: “Year 9 have been designing and making bottle openers. The project has incorporated a range of different skills from learning about a range of timbers, sketching ideas, technical drawings, through to CAD and traditional wood work.

The students have enjoyed this project and have finished their products with wood dye and wax and some have even engraved their designs using the laser cutter! Well Done Year 9.”
