Thank you so much to ex England Rugby women’s international player, Ceri Large, who visited the school to work with our young sports women. Ceri spent two days in school working with our KS3 Girls PE groups, delivering rugby sessions. They worked on skills and drills to refine technique and take it in to their games, learning to run to “spaces not faces.”
Year 8 student, Evie M, said: “The rugby session with Ceri was fun and a new experience for me. I was inspired by her as an ex England player and she was a great coach!”
Ceri has played for England 50 times and was a part of the 2014 World Cup squad.
