On Wednesday the PE Department took Minor (Year 7) girls and boys and Junior (Year 8 & 9) boys and girls cross country teams to take part in the North Wilts Area Championships at Beversbrook Sports ground in Calne. On a rather cold and rainy afternoon all our runners did themselves proud and ran their best race.

For our Year 7s this was their first time to enter and our Year 8s competing with Year 9s. In true traditional fashion for Cross Country the skies opened, and it poured down. The conditions were wet and windy, however, team Bradon pushed on.  It was a fantastic effort from our students who across the board ran a strong race. The icing on the cake was four of our students qualifying to represent North Wiltshire in the Wiltshire Schools Cross-Country Championships in January. A very well done to Daniel B, Archie C, Alex L and Elsie S. Elsie came a very close second in the Minor Girls race and Alex came 6^th in the Junior boys race, which was an excellent result as he is only Year 8!
