Congratulations to Alfie L who had a great weekend at the ice hockey showcase event in Sheffield! 

His team played 3 games across 3 days, winning 2 and narrowly losing the other one.  He was a positive part of his team and both his coaches and manager were really pleased with his performances.

Alfie’s parents said: “Not every young player gets the opportunity to go to the event as it’s invitation only so we are really grateful for the flexibility from you and the school to help him along! Alfie worked really hard and he made the most of the opportunity.”

His season wraps up this weekend when his team play in the National tournament held in Cambridge against the other qualifying teams from across the country. Swindon are in a group with Sheffield, Leeds and Slough!
