Year 7 student, Annabelle M, races in the FAB-Racing British Championships which is a National level race competition running over 8 weekends from April to October. She rides her 6 gear 50cc race bike capable of speeds of up to 65-70mph.

Annabelle raced last weekend at a track near Cambridge and was 5th fastest during practice out of 15 riders, qualifying 16th for Race 1,2 & 3 out of 23 riders. She finished: Race 1 – 16th, Race 2 – 15th and Race 3 – 15th with a new Personal Best lap in Race 3 – her fastest of the weekend. All of the competitors ahead of her have raced in this class for more than 1 year so she is one of the Rookies in the class.

She did exceptionally well in difficult weather conditions against some extremely talented and seasoned riders on a bike she has only just started racing! Well done Annabelle!
