Mrs Pullen reports: “Last term, I arranged for both my Year 10 Triple Science classes to enter the online National Science Thinking Challenge run by Warwick University. 227 schools and 13652 students took part. This was the first year we have taken part so we weren’t sure what to expect as some of the questions were challenging.
Our results are in and of the 58 students who took part, 6 achieved gold awards (top 10% of all students nationally), 9 students achieved silver (top 25% of students) and 11 of our students got bronze awards (top 40% of entrants)! These are fantastic results and I am really proud of our students.”
