Mr Hartley reports:
Key Stage 3 Sports Day
Wow, well done Team Bradon for a fantastic KS3 sports day. The students were well prepared from their PE lessons and didn’t disappoint. The weather was perfect and the school field was looking amazing, which made for a fantastic morning of athletics, with everyone contributing to their house scoring points. We gave out over 60 medals for the top 3 finishers in each event. There were records broken – in total we had 4 school records broken for KS3! The atmosphere was on par of an Olympic event and the Bradon Community was at its finest. – Well done all, what a day. The final overall finishing order was in 3rd place Ringsbury, 2nd place Peartree and the winners were Battlewell. Well done !
Key Stage 4 Sports Day
Another fab day of athletics saw our Year 10 teams compete against each other with passion and support for each other. It was a day of mixed emotions for the Year 10s of excitement and sadness as its their last sports day before leaving. However, they did themselves proud and performed brilliantly with some really close competitive. We had a school record broken that has stood since 1989 and great competition throughout the morning. The final overall finisher order was, 3rd Peartree, 2nd Battlewell and winners Ringsbury. Well done!
