Layla H and Ceira W report: “On 4 July, a group of girls went to Dauntsey’s School to help out with the Swindon School Games as Young Leaders. We were assigned to groups from different schools and went around with them as they did their activities. The activities included dance, archery, Quidditch and games on the field. It was a good opportunity for us as a young leaders to help and encourage the pupils. In the morning we did three activities then after lunch there was an awards ceremony where pupils were awarded track medals and trophies. Then there was the option to do crafts inside or activities on the field. All round it was a good day and a great experience!”

School Games organiser, Alma Borthwick, emailed Mrs Evans: “I just wanted to say thank you to you and your leaders for your support yesterday. Collette mentioned how good your leaders were and said her activities ran really smoothly because of their help. I hope they enjoyed themselves and didn’t get too wet!”
