One of the best things about this time of year is that most classrooms have their windows open, so the wonderful sounds of summer created by our Music Department can be heard around the school. Mr Hancock has been creating Year 8 samba bands while Mr Knibbs’ room is the place to be at lunchtimes with Guitar Club and the self led Chimes Club still going strong, despite the pull of the good weather. GCSE students take advantage of the great facilities to work on music production, and students also pop in and out for extra help with their instrument of choice. Thank you, Music Department, for being the soundtrack to summer!
