Thank you so much to our enthusiastic History and Maths departments for hosting this weeks World War II event for Primary pupils. This fantastic collaborative project offers children the chance to try their hand at exciting code breaking activities whilst immersing themselves in the history of the event. Our young Historians were on hand to help pupils throughout the morning. The Bradon Forest jazz band played some live music from the era, and a group of our Drama students performed a short piece about what it would have been like for a young person to be drafted. Pupils were then able to enjoy a small VE Day party with sandwiches and scones provided by our Food Tech team and more live music!
Thank you to Bridlewood, Peatmoor, St Mary’s and St Sampson’s for bringing over your Year 5 pupils!
