Mrs Clark reports: “We were thrilled to welcome back our friends from Swindon & Wiltshire Pride yesterday for a creative lunchtime session. Students met in the art room and painted tiles that will create a “Wall of Pride” mural. The room was full of conversation and colour as students chatted openly about identity and what pride means to them.
A huge thank you to SWP for not only giving up their time to join us for a fun, arty activity, but also for generously donating a brilliant collection of books to our school library. These titles will help us continue important conversations around diversity, identity and inclusion, and we’re so grateful for their support.
Our PE team organised a great orienteering event – a sport which originated in Sweden. Much fun was had by all, yet another lovely day celebrating who we are!”
