If you’re looking for some Monday Motivation, look no further! Over the Easter break, Year 8 student, Ted M, climbed Yr Wyddfa (pronounced uh-with-va, the mountain formally known as Snowdon). The highest mountain in Wales and England, it stands at 1,085 metres (3,560 feet) in the heart of Eryri National Park, North Wales.
Ted embraced the challenge with his dad, and dog Betsy, taking 5½ hours, with incredible determination and resilience throughout the climb – as you can see from the photo, it wasn’t exactly ideal conditions!
Well done for an amazing achievement. The trio are now considering taking on Ben Nevis this summer – we’re not sure if Betsy gets a say though…
