At the end of last week, 12 students across Year 8 and Year 9 took part in Boyz2Men workshops. Supported by Mr Allen, the boys explored topics like masculinity, mental and emotional wellbeing, online content, positive role models and gender allyship. Richard Pomfrett from Boyz2Men was incredibly impressed by the maturity and engagement shown and the boys should be very proud of themselves. Whilst there has been a lot of discussion in the media recently about teenage masculinity, it’s reassuring to know that our students are receptive to hearing the messages that will support them in their journey to becoming well-rounded young adults.
“It was an absolute pleasure working with your boys. Each one of them impressed me in their own way, but one thing they all had in common, is they were all respectful, thoughtful, open and engaged”.
