Mrs Chappell reports: “On Friday 13 June, our four Year 10 students who make up Team Spaceman watched the live-streamed interview with ESA Astronaut, Luca Parmitano. The team were successful in writing a programme that was used on the International Space Station to work out the Space Station’s speed by comparing photographs that are taken as it orbits the Earth. This is the team enjoying their space themed snacks – Galaxy minstrels, Haribo Starmix and Starry Night mix crisps while watching the broadcast. Only 329 teams worldwide got their code running on the space station, a huge congratulations for this great achievement, Alfie F, Josiah H, Jensen V and Max G!”
