Mr Thompson reports: “Last week, we held our annual Inter-house Cross Country competition, with Year 7, 8, and 9 each taking part in their own races throughout the week that’s close to 500 students taking part! All students showed fantastic effort and determination as they represented their houses on the course.

In every year group, both the girls’ race and the boys’ race saw impressive performances. The top three finishers from each were awarded bronze, silver, and gold medals in recognition of their achievements. Many congratulations to the students below for their outstanding efforts.

From this event, a selection of students have now been chosen to represent the school in the upcoming North Wilts Cross Country Champs.  We wish them the best of luck as they prepare for the event on Wednesday at KGA.

The overall Inter-house results are currently being finalised and will be announced later in the term, when the winning house will be revealed. Well done to all students for their participation and resilience throughout the cross country fortnight and massive congratulations to Mrs Lanphier for running with her year group!
