Mrs Evans reports: “On Monday 2 February, eight Year 7 students attended a Panathlon Sports Competition held at Abbey Park. Eight different Sports stations were set up ranging from boccia to kurling and the girls made their way round the circuit participating with great enthusiasm!

Ten pin skittles and “Boccia blast” proved to be the most popular events. Captain Molly H claimed: “It was an experience like no other!” Amy-L V scored the maximum points in “Harlem Hoops” which helped the girls finish a very respectable 4th overall. Molly Humphries summed up the afternoon brilliantly; “It was really fun and the Abbey Park young leaders were very supportive.”

Well done girls and thanks to all involved with the organisation of a fabulous fun sporting event.
