Izzy C-S reports: “Following the Swindon School competition, the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 girls competed at the Wiltshire Schools County Championship. Each team played a total of three sets with five games with a mixture of doubles and singles.
In the KS3 pool, we fell short in the first and second set, with a close 3-2 and a 4-1 loss. The girls played extremely well and were very close with each individual score. They never lost their composure and came out of the last set with a 5-0 win! The smiles did not come off their faces and there were some great smashes and brilliantly placed drop shots. Overall Bradon Forest KS3 came 3rd place and a very big well done to Kelsey H, Jess C, April S, Layla A and Maeher O who had some fantastic rallies and should be very proud.
In the KS4 pool, we narrowly lost the first game 3-2, but some very close scores in each individual game. Once again the girls played with a smile and had some brilliant shots. The girls continued by winning their next two games 3-2 and 5-0! A very special well done to Eunice C, who was unbeaten in both her singles and doubles game. This placed Bradon in a very respectable 2nd place and Maizey D, Aekas O, Eunice C, Brigitta O and Izzy C-S had a great performance and should be very proud.”
