Mrs Clark reports: “Once a week in tutor time, students discuss and debate a topical ‘Big Question’. This week, students are discussing whether unhealthy foods should be removed from school canteen menus following government plans to ban deep-fried food and restrict high-sugar items. Students will read a news article about the topic, discuss and debate their opinions and then all tutor groups will vote on the question. We plan to start sharing the weekly debate topics via our social media feed, so please get involved and extend the discussions at home!”
