Bradon Forest School is a successful, well regarded school, rated as Good by Ofsted, situated in the village of Purton, surrounded by beautiful open countryside. This gives us the perfect backdrop to focus on providing an excellent standard of education, as well as nurturing students' individual talents and character.

The school is happy and friendly, with a supportive environment which enables students to flourish and enjoy their education. We place the highest priority on the learning opportunities, both academic and extra-curricular, that we provide for our students.

See our current school brochure here.

Bradon Forest School is an academy (part of The Athelstan Trust) and as such determines its own admissions policy and considers all applications for the school. The Athelstan Trust Admissions policy can be viewed here. Other key policies including behaviour and charging policies can be viewed here.  Click the links for our Admissions Policy for 2025/26 and 2026/27.

If your child has an Educational Health Care Plan, you should contact your SEND Case Worker as your child's admission will be handled by the Central SEND team and not by the School Admissions Team. You cannot apply online or use the common application form.
