How to Apply – Starting Year 7
Applications for a September start for Secondary school in Year 7 need to be submitted online to your Local Authority
by 31 October, these are classed as 'On-time' applications. Any applications after that date will be considered but will
be classed as a 'Late Application'. Please view our helpsheet if you are having any difficulties.
Parents will be notified of their childs school place, for 'on-time' applications, on National Offer Day – 1 March. A letter
will be posted to you in March from Bradon Forest School to welcome your child to join us in Year 7 the following September.
If your child has an Educational Health Care Plan, you should contact your SEND Case Worker, as your child's admission will be handled by the Central SEND team and not by the School Admissions Team. You cannot apply online or use the common application form.
