STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Applications will open in the Spring term, 2025.
Positions Available:
- Current Year 8, you can apply for: Peer Mentor OR Prefect
- Current Year 9, you can apply for: Peer Mentor OR Prefect
- Current Year 10, you can apply for: Head Student, Deputy Head Student, Senior Prefect
- Students in Years 8, 9 and 10 can apply for: Diversity Leader, LGBTQ+ Leader, Anti-Bullying Leader
Application details will be posted on ClassCharts as well. You must have a good behaviour record and be prepared to always uphold the school’s values.
EMAIL your application statement of 500 words to the relevant teacher.

PEER MENTORS
- Work with a Year 7 tutor group
- Plan out activities for the tutor group weekly or fortnightly
- Attend summer school in August
- Attend Year 7 transition events in school (induction) 8 and 9 of July
- Carry out other prefect duties such as tours and open events
- Carry out a lunch duty in D2 once per week

PREFECTS
- Help to run a WHOOSH club once per week
- Carry out tours at open mornings and open evenings
- Carry out a lunch duty in D2 once per week
- Other duties as required

HEAD AND DEPUTY HEAD STUDENTS
- Meet with Mrs Haines and Mr Kershaw
- Carry out specific events such as remembrance
- Give talks to open evenings
- Carry out a duty in D2 once per week
- Carry out tours at open mornings and open events
- Assist with leavers events (prom, yearbook etc)
- Attend meetings with the governing body (1 or 2 per year)
- Carry out one lunch duty per week

SENIOR PREFECTS
