We were delighted to assist Greenmeadow Primary School, one of our feeder schools, with a donation of a number of books for their new lending library today.

Mrs Styles, Bradon Forest’s librarian, has been using this quieter period in school to having a thorough stocktake. Mrs Styles said, “We are very lucky at Bradon Forest to have received a large number of books from families and staff as their children have grown up over the years that I have been working here. We had such a large collection of books it was becoming difficult for the students to find what they were looking for. I have used this lockdown period to have a comprehensive review of all the books we have in the library.”

Mrs Styles was altered to the plea from Greenmeadow for books for their new lending library by another member of Bradon Forest staff.  Mrs Mackinnon and Mrs McDonald, the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, from Greenmeadow visited our library this evening and selected books that would be suitable for primary age children.
